Classes & Workshops

Mommy* & Me Classes

These classes are for moms, dads, grandparents or any caregiver and their child. The group setting allows for peer and adult relationships to form promoting social interactions and meaningful connections with others. The caregiver also learns techniques and strategies to help their child gain new mobility and gross motor skills. Please see our scheduling page for more specific information in choosing the class that is right for you and your little one.

*All parents & caregivers are welcome in the mommy and me classes.

Adult Group Classes

Stephanie Parr, PT is offering virtual pilates classes for adult strength, balance, flexibility, and self care. These early morning MWF classes can be done from the comfort of your own home with no babysitter needed. Mondays consist of a fun workout using an exercise ball and light weights. Wednesdays focus on working the core and hips on the mat. Fridays incorporate a mix of cardio and strength training. Please see our scheduling page for more information.

Kids Small Group Classes

These classes are fun for kiddos ages 3-6! They are open to children of all abilities and encourage movement through peer play, obstacle courses, games, strengthen activities, stretching, music and more. Please see our scheduling page to choose which class would be best for your child.

Continuing Education Classes

Kids S.O.A.R. will be offering a CEU course that Stephanie presented at the APTA Kanas Spring Conference in 2022.

What: Stepping Stones to Walking

In this course, participants will learn effective strategies to promote gross motor skill acquisition. The course will target motor skills ranging from rolling to walking. Stepping stones to each developmental skill are achieved with each new skill acquisition. Tips and tricks to achieve the desired outcomes will include activities that motivate the infant in a fun and functional way. The participant will also learn some common atypical movement patterns and techniques to encourage more typical patterns.
